Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the DeepCodex API service (the "Service"). Registering for or using the Service means you accept them.
01Accounts
Register with a real, working email or phone number and take responsibility for everything done under the account. Keep API keys and other credentials safe; usage caused by a leaked key is billed as usual. You can close the account at any time from Settings; keys and sessions stop working immediately.
02The Service
Plans provide model-call quota, concurrency and rate limits; the exact numbers are those shown on the plan page and in your subscription. We may change the model catalog, prices and limits, and will announce changes in the console or by email beforehand.
03Fees and refunds
Paid plans are prepaid per period; quota is valid within the period and does not carry over. Unused quota is not converted to cash. Outages caused by us may be compensated pro rata on request. Consumed API usage is not refunded.
04Billing boundaries
- Plans run in 30-day periods and are metered in equivalent tokens.
- Price, quota, validity and capabilities are shown before purchase.
- Quota left at the end of a period does not carry over.
- Auto-renewal reminds you before the period ends; an insufficient wallet balance is notified first, then paused.
- Once the quota is used up you can continue from the wallet at the published unit price.
- Consumed usage is not refunded; a period that has not started can be refunded.
- Beyond the quota, usage is charged from the wallet at CN¥4.50 per million equivalent tokens.
05Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to produce unlawful, infringing or harmful content, bypass rate limits, share accounts, resell quota, or reverse-engineer or attack the Service. Accounts that do may be limited or terminated.
06Beta capabilities and key safety
- Capabilities marked Beta or "coming soon" may change or be withdrawn; their status is always shown on the page.
- An API key's plaintext is shown once, at creation; usage caused by sharing or mishandling a key is the account holder's.
07Data
Whether request and response bodies are stored is controlled by your privacy settings; usage, billing and security logs are kept as regulations require. See the Privacy Policy.
08Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided as is; we do not warrant the accuracy or fitness of model output. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, and our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.
09Changes
We may update these terms and will give notice of material changes in advance. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
10Disputes and contact
Disagree with a bill or the service? Write to support@deepcodex.com first so we can settle it; unresolved disputes go to the competent court at the provider's seat.
